DMR has a wide selection of generating sets available for rent. Upon request, generators are loaded and transported for hire at any part of the island. Most of the sets offered for rent are containerized, silence key start specification. All containers are soundproof to 75dBa at 1 M free space.
The company being conscious of the notice pollution are making all efforts to convert all of their generating sets available for hire into silence type.
All generator offered for hire are in excellent condition and are always reliable for Standby or continual operation. For generators of capacity in excess of 1000KVA, 3 weeks advance notice is required.
Our company sells new and used generating sets of any capacity and specifications in accordance of customer needs. In store you will find a selection of gen sets from 1 KVA up to 2000 KVA.
Our generating sets are imported from Green Power in Italy, top quality generators manufacturer according to CE Standards.
New generating sets are provided with one year guarantee or 2000 working hours for 1500 RPM gen sets and one year guarantee or 400 working hours for 3000 RPM gen sets.
A 12-month free service is provided with the purchase of a new standby generator excluding the cost of lubricating oil and filters.

Services
In the generator department DMR is carrying out maintenance, overhauls and testing of generators of any type and capacity. Generators are stripped down to the bedplate and re-built with new parts especially imported from the Italy or UK through associated suppliers. Full record of all the repairs and tests is kept at all times. DMR keeps close liaison with the main generator manufactures and maintains an up to date library of maintenance and overhaul manuals.

After repairs, all generators are load tested prior to leave the workshops. Generating sets up to 1500 KVA are load tested with series of resistance load banks, which DMR has specifically imported from UK for this purpose. All load banks are trailer mounted to enable transportation at any location where generating sets are installed.

DMR undertakes the responsibility to carry out surveys of the power requirements and thereafter the installation, testing and commissioning of generating set, including the fuel supply and electrical controls and connections to the consumer.
DMR responds within a few hours to callouts (inslandwide) to attend for emergency repairs on generating plant and maintenance tools.
Rewind 07
If and when necessary alternator rewinding is carried out and thereafter tested in accordance with the relevant British standards ( BS 7671 Requirements for electrical installations and BS 9486 routine tests).
